Most important was one staff member JC who was very polite and helpful on more than one occasion. He saw me struggling with my bike and informed me of a secure area to park the bike. Also very helpful when I was waiting at reception, he found someone to assist. Also was available when I returned to fetch my bags. Great employee! I purchased a less expensive room since I was traveling solo. Smallest room I have ever booked. My opinion is that a hotel of this grandeur should not rent out rooms this small. This will harm your reputation. Plus, the walk to the room is ridiculously far but most importantly, the safety from fire is poor. The hallways are too long without exits. The windows are too small to crawl out. Could be very dangerous situation. Just charge a fair price for decent sized rooms and address your safety issues. Thank you, I had a wonderful stay in a lovely hotel with excellent staff!

The family rooms work well for a family of 4. The children's bunk beds are in a separate area from the main bedroom with its own door which gives the adults some privacy. Lovely big bathroom spotlessly clean. Good breakfast buffet with a good choice for everyone. Great swimming pool and good entertainment in the evenings in the foyer area to entertain all ages.

April 2025 Week before Easter weekend. Great location as we had our bikes with us. Stayed in bunk bed family room with connecting rooms. Activities at the hotel a bit hit or miss for timings. Tuesday… pool opens at 8am, closes at 10.30am (so during breakfast and full tummies), didn’t reopen until 2.30pm! Football pitch closes at 7pm? Even though 3 families all at arrived with footballs. Fun factory £6 per child , £1 for adults … Rooms absolutely boiling hot! Had to leave window open all day, then close at night due to noise of boiler room vents(?) Radiators weren’t even on.

Location was amazing, close to so many attractions. Nice alpine feel to the comfortable lobby and bar, room dated but fine and comfortable and modern bathroom. Pool nice and clean. Plenty onsite to keep kids entertained too.

The location was perfect At the arrival receptionist , hearing about our 10th wedding anniversary, gave us a complimentary upgrade,free drinks vouchers,in the restaurant we were very well looked after, especially from the waiter Christian,every meal times he always stopped for a chat. All other staff were very helpful and professional. The facilities are very clean,the rooms are clean and comfortable.We enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna ,grounds around the hotel and wood walks. Food exceptional. Loads of attractions for children and families. Definitely will definitely return in the future. Also it's good value for money.
